(1) The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in. His voice dropped to a whisper. "Let it come in. We think we dont deserve love, we think
if we let it in we'll become too soft. But a wise man called Levine said it right. Love is the only rational act. (2) Sometimes, in the mornings, that's when i mourn. I feel around my body,
I move my fingers and my hands--whatever I can still move-- and I mourn for what I've lost. I mourn the slow, insidious way in which I am dying. But then, i stop. I give myself a good cry if
i need it. But then I concentrate on all the good things still in my life. YOU. (3) The culture doesnt encourage us to think about regrets until you're about to die. We're so wrapped up with
egotistical things, career, family, having enough money--trillions of little acts just to keep going. We dont have the habit to stand back and look at our lives "Is this all I want?" You need
someone to probe you in that direction. It doesnt happen automatically. I have found my teacher. Have you found yours? (4) Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live. Listen to that bird
on your shoulder, if you accept that you can die at any time, you might not be as ambitious as you are. (5) Love each other or perish. Family-- nothing else can give you spiritual security. Not
money, not fame. (6) Learn to detach. Dont cling to things, because everything is impermanent. Let the experience penetrate you fully. That's how you are able to leave it. If you dont allow yourself
to go all the way through them, you can never get to being detached. You're too busy being afraid, afraid of pain, grief and vulnerability. Throw yourself into these emotions. Dive in, all the way.
Then, you will know what the emotions are, and detach. (7) You have to find what's good and true and beautiful in your life as it is now. Looking back makes you competitive. And age, is not
competitive. How can I be envious of where you are--when I've been there myself? (8) Devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community and people around you, create something
that gives you meaning. Do the kinds of things that come from the heart. When you do, you wont be dissatified, envious and longing for someone else's things. On the contrary, you'll be overwhelmed
with what comes back. (9) Love is how you stay alive, even after you are gone.Think of my voice and I will be there. (10) Respect, compromise and talk openly. Have a common set of values in life with
your partner. (11) The biggest defect we human beings have is our short-sightedness. Invest in the human family. Invest in those you love and who love you. In the beginning of life, when we were infants,
we need others to survive, right? At the end of life, you need others to survive right? (12) Forgive yourself. Forgive others. Tears are okay. Life is a tension of opposites. (13) As long as we can love
each other, and remember, the feeling of love we had, we can die without ever really going away. Death ends a life, not a rlnship. (14) I love you, Coach. He had finally made me cry.

today is the last day of uni for me. strange that it is on a thursday cause i have off days on friday. finally a friday where i can take a break from artic/phonology or communication ax the lifespan with robyn (the old lady)
anyway, guess what? i have a coursemate who just turned 18 yesterday.. she is getting married next yr to her bf of 2.5yrs. at the age of 18, she got married. her bf gave her a DAMN DAMN DAMN FREAKING REALLY FREAKING huge wedding ring (diamond+gold).. really huge one.. when i was 18, i was contemplating if i should come overseas.. and i was busy working. jiahui attribute this phenomena to high divorce rates.
well, my neighbours are still very sweet to me. :) and guess what.. immersing myself in Aussie culture.. their runner up for Aust Idol (the one who lost to guy sebastian).. Shannon Noll. he sings so much better and his songs are so much nicer than Guy.. man... he has a song called Shine. that is really inspiring. and guess what again.. i manage to find the Love song of me n jan.. "i wanna spend my lifetime loving you" by marc anthony and tina arena.. That song.. is my love song with jan.. cause it was her O lvl song.. that woke me up to wake her up.. long story to that love song but its jan's n my love song.. and yes, i went to the city exceptionally to buy Shannon Noll's single.. it cost A$4.75.. damn nice song... and i am listening to it now.
anat ended today. i miss shaun collins. alot. =(
Shine
Get up, get out, get out, get out and lift your head
Come on, come on, get up out of bed
Today's the day you hold the world with your song
Go now, go now, go now, help escalate
Angels come down, help with this parade
To hear your voice ring out
Come on and shout it
Let your song be heard
This is the time
This is the day that we've been waiting for
All the world will stop to watch you shine
Hey now, hey now, hey now, hey now sing your hymn
This is the new national anthem
We will all stand on guard to let you be heard
Let go, let go, let go all that can ask
How beautiful this world has become
Now everyone will see what I believe
That these words should be sung
This is the time
This is the day that we've been waiting for
All the world will stop to watch you shine
This is the time
This is the day that we've been waiting for
All the world believes that you will shine
And if you fall
And if you fall
And if you trust and
Yes it will come true
Hey, hey
Yeah!
This is the time
This is the day that we've been waiting for
All the world will stop to watch you shine

and now for my love song with janice. ...
I Want To Spend My Lifetime To Loving You
Moon so bright, night so fine
Keep your heart here with mine
Life's a dream we are dreaming
Race the moon, catch the wind
Ride the night to the end
Seize the day, stand up for the light
I want to spend my lifetime loving you
If that is all in life I ever do
Heroes rise, heroes fall
Rise again, win it all
In your heart, can't you feel the glory?
Through our joy, through our pain
We can move worlds again
Take my hand, dance with me
I want to spend my lifetime loving you
If that is all in life I ever do
I will want nothing else to see me through
If I can spend my lifetime loving you
Though we know we will never come again
Where there is love, life begins
Over and over again
Save the night, save the day
Save the love, come what may
Love is worth everything we pay
I want to spend my lifetime loving you
If that is all in life I ever do
I want to spend my lifetime loving you
If that is all in life I ever do
I will want nothing else to see me through
If I can spend my life time loving you
